Privacy Policy

Analyst Arena (theanalystarena.com) is a skills test and course for data analysts, run by Aditya Krishna in Bengaluru, India. This page explains what the site collects and what happens to it. Questions go to hello@theanalystarena.com.

What we collect

• From Google sign-in: your name and email address. Google also sends a link to your profile picture; we don’t use or show it.
• What you do on the site: your Arena Score attempts (answers, time taken, scores, level and certificate code), your progress through practice cases and the course, and whether you’ve bought the course.
• Choices you make: whether to appear on the leaderboard and under what name, and whether you want emails about new cases and offers (off unless you turn it on).

We don’t collect payment card details, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To sign you in and keep your progress.
• To grade your test, issue your certificate and work out percentiles.
• To unlock the course if you’ve paid for it.
• To fix problems and improve questions, using counts like how many people got a question right.
• To email you about new cases and offers, only if you opted in.

What others can see

• Certificates: anyone who has your certificate code can look it up and see your name, score, level, the sections it covers and the date. Only share the code where you want it checked.
• Leaderboard: you appear only if you opt in, under the name you choose. You can opt out at any time.

We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who else handles it

• Supabase stores accounts and results in a database in Mumbai, India.
• Hostinger hosts the website.
• Google handles sign-in and serves the site’s fonts.
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) and jsDelivr serve some of the code the site runs in your browser.
• Razorpay processes course payments under its own privacy policy. We keep the order and payment IDs, the amount and the date, but never your card, UPI or bank details.
• Gumroad handles payment if you buy one of our books there.

Like any website, these services see your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts them.

Stored in your browser

The site keeps your sign-in session and a copy of your progress in your browser’s local storage, so it loads quickly and works if the connection drops. Signing out, or clearing your browser’s site data, removes it.

How long we keep it, and deleting your account

We keep your account and results for as long as you have an account. To delete it, email hello@theanalystarena.com from the address you sign in with. We’ll delete your account, results and progress within 30 days, and your certificate codes will stop working. You can also ask for a copy of your data or for corrections the same way.

Age

Analyst Arena is meant for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll show a notice on the site.
